Helping Today's Students Become Tomorrow's Leaders in Aviation and Aerospace.
One of the core functions of The Wings Club is to encourage education in aviation and aerospace studies. Each year at the annual Wings Club Dinner-Dance in October, scholarships are awarded to one student from each of the schools participating in the Wings Club Scholarship Fund program. Current participating schools are Dowling College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. Each school selects a deserving award recipient based on our criteria and those students, along with the corporations and individuals who support the Scholarship Fund, are honored and recognized at the October event in New York. An additional scholarship in the name of the evening’s Distinguished Achievement Award winner is also given to the school of his or her choice.
